What is a blog?
A blog is a personal diary. A daily pulpit. A collaborative space. A political soapbox. A breaking-news outlet. A collection of links. Your own private thoughts. Memos to the world. A blog gives you your own voice on the web.
In simple terms, a blog is a web site, where you write stuff on an ongoing basis. New stuff shows up at the top, so visitors can read what's new. Then they comment on it or link to it, or email you, or not.
We will try to respond within 2 working days however, please remember if you are concerned that a child is at risk from harm you can make contact with,
- Surrey Police on 0845 1252222 (24hs) or 999 if you feel it’s an emergency.
- Or…. call the Surrey Social Services Contact Centre on 08456 009 009 – Mon to Fri 8am until 6pm. This is an automated system and you should select ‘option – child social care’. This will connect you to an operator.
Please remember this blog area is not a safe place to give personal information and we would ask that if you want to have a confidential conversation you call the Stop it Now! Helpline on 0808 1000 900. For further information about the helpline click here
